North Avenue Nursery School: About Us

North Avenue Nursery School is a non-profit,
nonsectarian preschool established in 1972. The
school does not discriminate on the basis of sex,
race, religion, disability, marital status, political
beliefs or cultural heritage. North Avenue Nursery
School strives to nurture an awareness of, a
sensitivity to, and a respect for the rich cultural
differences that exist in our world.

Our program is licensed by the Massachusetts
Department of Early Education and Care. Our
teachers are professionally trained in the field of
Early Childhood Education. Each one of our two
classrooms is staffed with three professionals -- a
Lead Teacher, a Teacher and an Assistant
Teacher.

North Avenue houses our younger class with 16
children, ages 3-4 and our older pre-k classroom
with 18 children, ages 4-5.
